Dr. Sweta Sneha is the Director of Healthcare Management and Informatics and an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Security at Kennesaw State University. She is a leader and a visionary who spearheaded  the development of a premier interdisciplinary graduate program in Healthcare Management and Informatics with the objective to meet the workforce needs and economic development imperative in Health IT. Her experience in Healthcare and Information technology gleaned over a decade center around a wide array of technical and behavioral challenges pertaining to (a) innovation in e-health and enhanced decision support based on data analytics, (b) adoption, usage, and integration of emerging IT services in the practice and delivery of  healthcare, and (c) administrative/managerial challenges and process change associated with the integration and usage of health IT services by the healthcare sector. She has published over 50 research papers in premier journals and conferences both nationally and internationally. She has also authored a book titled Revolutionizing Health Monitoring. She has delivered multiple invited speeches including keynotes and conducted workshops in at key conferences such as: M-Health Summit, MedCom etc. In addition, she is actively engaged in the organization of many national/international conferences, Americas Conference in Information Systems (AMCIS – as a minitrack co-chair), Pervasive Health Conference, and Clinical Research in Georgia Conference. Prior to joining academia, she was an IT consultant in the Management Consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She received her doctorate in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park.
