The Future of Digital Identities

This presentation will focus on planning for the impact of digital identities. Currently, the digital identity is very fragmented, which has created an "every company for itself, no trust" mentality. This is due to the instability around name changes, address changes and social security number error and misuse. What's more, there's a lack of identity standards and guidance. 

The future of the identity will be shaped for millennials, More than 90 percent are connected to social media sites and smart phones and mobile sites. As a result, there's an increased need for federated identities allowing users to log-on to websites and applications, mobile devices and systems using their existing identity. The social login is the most common form for federal identity today. Amazon.com, PayPal and Verizon can also be identity providers.
